There are times in life when you're presented with opportunities that you just can't say no to. Meeting Darrin, Peter and Ken from Carbon8 was one such time. Working with people who are as passionate about their craft as we are could only result in a unique outcome.

Illustrators are not always afforded the freedom to explore concepts or ideas within the arena of commercial illustration. However, Carbon8 supported all the ideas we presented to them, giving us advice on print techniques that would best enhance the images we were creating.

Carbon8 also brought in key partners on this project that helped create a uniquely crafted piece. Spicers Paper, which donated all the stock, Goldcraft, which did a fantastic job on the cover, and AllKotes, which added finishing touches to many inside pages.

This was a truly collaborative job, and the end result, limited to just 450 copies, reflects the success of that process.
