Fresh Approach For New Kleenex Range
‘In September last year, I was approached by our lovely American rep, Deborah Wolfe, about a potential job to pitch for Kleenex’ recalls Cinzah. ‘It was one of those great jobs that every illustrator dreams of receiving in their inbox first thing on a Monday morning - a bright, fresh series of designs for a major client, allowing a lot of creative freedom and control.’
Cinzah was commissioned to create a series of four bird-themed, die-cut tissue boxes for Kleenex, to be released as their 2012 Spring / Summer range. The client was after a fresh, new, sophisticated approach to an existing product.
‘I worked alongside designer Jennifer Brock from Kimberly-Clark in the US, and came up with four variations of a Spring/Summer-inspired tropical bird. Target loved the designs, and they are currently in stores throughout the US and Canada,’ says Cinzah.
The job recently earned a Silver in prestigious international packaging awards - The Pentawards.
‘It was a rather nice little bonus, on top of a very enjoyable, creative job.’
